Jean Cyr's -- Corner Harris and Lake  1925
Jean Cyr's is remembered for the largest display of penny candy in the area. Abel and Lorraine Cyr's variety store also featured a soda and ice cream fountain, tobacco products, newspaper, magazines. And of course, the Fish and Chips! A carousel, bowling alley, and the Pastime A.C. Mens Club were highlights of their history. Eugene "Joe" Cyr sold the bar (Pastime Cafe) 3 years ago. In this picture, "Joe Forcier's Sanitary Barber Shop" is in business on the left of the store front.
