Waterhouse Company,Tracy Court 1936 Flood  1936
Waterhouse Co. execs watch the water rise at their Tacy Court factory. The company produced custom auto bodies for DuPont Motors, Packard, Lincoln and Chrysler. The firm relocated to Chase Ave. after WWII and entered into the furniture business. The Ethan Allen plant was located there later. Flood waters impacted residents and devastated businesses, particularly in the North Village and Pearl St. area on March 16 and 18, 1936.
